The Creative Process

All the original artwork for the Fluidity energy card deck was channelled through Emma using the fluid medium of encaustic wax.

This medium consists of pigmented Beeswax which is manipulated with heated encaustic tools onto a heatproof card

Encaustic art has a history of being used by the ancient Greeks, Romans and Egyptians. They would mix Beeswax with coloured earth pigments and resin and paint onto wooden burial portraits.

For this deck, digital elements were also added to the artwork to enhance the energetic properties of the art and to create the oracle design of the deck.

My artwork is often used within my sound baths. The Fluidity energy card deck is specifically used within my 'Crystal Alchemy' one to one sound bath treatment.

Suggested ways to play with your cards

There is no ‘set’ way of using the cards, as their fluid nature will empower you to play with the energy of the cards in your own intuitive way.

The cards can be spun around and viewed from many different aspects and can be used for scrying. Gaze into the card and allow your intuition and the energy to flow within the artwork revealing images, feelings and insights.
