My Sound Healing Approach
My sound healing approach combines therapeutic sound with the concept of the five elements; Earth, Air, Fire, Water and Aether. These elements represent fundamental energies found within us and in nature, and can be utilised to help bring about balance within the mind, body and spirit, facilitating a feeling of wellbeing.
Blending these five elements and their corresponding sound healing instrument applications, along with crystals, aromatic scent, sacred geometry, oracle cards and my own personal Energy Artwork, I will offer you a beautiful bespoke sound offering designed to provide a gentle holistic practice for you to experience. Earth provides grounding (Root Chakra, stability), Water governs emotions/flow (Sacral Chakra, healing), Fire ignites transformation/will (Solar Plexus, creativity), Air brings connection/breath (Heart/Throat, communication), and Aether/Spirit is the connecting universal consciousness (Brow/ Third Eye & Crown Chakra, intuition). Within my Sound baths I use specific tones, instruments, ambiance, scent and my artwork to attune to these elements, promoting holistic wellbeing, emotional release and spiritual growth by restoring energetic balance within your Auric Field and Chakras.

The healing element of Earth, represents our physical reality. It offers stability, grounding, roots, nourishment, structure and strength.
Deep, resonant sounds like low drums, Tibetan singing bowls, Root chakra-focused vibrations, sounds and frequencies attune to the element of Earth.

Air (Connection & Breath)
The healing element of air is connected to breath, intellect, communication, and movement, promoting lightness and clarity.
High pitched and clear sounds such as chime bars and wind chimes, along with infusing the air with essential oils and incense enhance this connection.
Associated with the Heart and Throat Chakras.
Fire (Transformation & Will)
The healing element of fire involves transformation, purification, warmth, and illumination. It sparks passion, and provides comfort and ambiance.
Strong, dynamic sounds from gongs move energy, ignite motivation, will power and creativity.
The element of fire is also linked to the Sun and it's life energy.

Water ( Flow & Cleansing)
The healing element of water represents emotions, flow, and purification, acting as a powerful medium in sound healing that carries vibrations, memories, and healing frequencies.
It is often used in my singing bowls and I use instruments that mimic the sound of water such as an Ocean drum, rain stick and seed rattles.
The element of water is also linked to the Moon and it's cycles.
Associated with the Sacral Chakra
Aether (Spirit & Space)
Aether is the first and most subtle element, the "space" in which the other four elements (air, fire, water, earth) manifest. Without this space, nothing can move, function, or exist. Aether is linked to the 'One' Universal consciousness that connects all.
Aether reminds us of the importance of considering silence 'space' during the sound bath.
Associated with the Brow / Third Eye and Crown Chakra.

My artwork is often used within my sound baths.
Some of the artwork has been created on specific key dates during the year such as the Equinoxes, Eclipses and Super Moons.
Art ideas come from a blend of personal experiences, the external world, the five elements and a blend of spiritual concepts.
The creative process itself is often sparked by the use of sound healing instruments, yoga and meditation before hand.
My artwork is created in mixed media using a variety of coloured inks, pastel and paint. Some times I use digital elements too to enhance art work and it's energy content.
The Auric Field
The auric field otherwise known as the aura, is an invisible, multi-layered energy field concept that surrounds the physical body in multiple layers, reflecting one's physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual states. This is often depicted as coloured light.
Multiple colours, patterns, and vibrations within the auric field flow with thoughts, feelings, and health, acting like a prism of one's inner state. The layers of the aura are intricately connected to the body's chakra system which are spinning coloured energy centres within the body. Just as we take a bath to cleanse our physical body, a sound bath can be used to cleanse your auric field too.

About The Human Energy Centres, known as Chakras
Chakras (the Sanskrit word for ‘wheel’) are believed to be spiritual spinning energy centres in the body. These spinning "wheels" run from the base of the spine to the top of your head and are connected by the 'Hara' Line.
The seven main chakras are thought to correspond with the Colours of the Rainbow and have physical, emotional, and spiritual functions.
The knowledge of this Chakra system can be traced back thousands of years. When looking back through history you can see Chakras and healing across many different Eastern cultures, believing that our internal energy flow effects our mind, body and spirit. Although Chakras are not scientifically proven, some scientists have proposed that the chakra system may correspond to the human body's major nerve plexuses and endocrine glands, which would explain how the system's concepts about physical and emotional well-being could have developed. it is believed that the Chakras must be "open" and "aligned" for a free flow of energy and overall well-being. Holistic Practices such as sound healing can be used to facilitate the balance of energy and harmony within this Chakra system.
